Narcotic Detection Course
Single Purpose (narcotic detection) K-9 Course 80-120 hour course

Course Objectives:
In this course the handler will not only learn how to handle the K-9, but will learn how to conduct basic obedience,
log down K-9 deployments,
learn about policies and procedures,
know the court system and current case law,
engage in proactive K-9 team procedures to be successful within the agency and community,
learn proper community presentation techniques,
learn proper K-9 maintenance at home and work,
proper care of K-9 to avoid undesired behaviors and problems.,
open areas, building searches, luggage, vehicles, boxes
Our single purpose program consists of too many things to list and everything learned will be documented where each team can take everything learned, such as the practicable hands on exercises, lesson plans, lectures, tests and final exams back to the agency for state credit. We have tons of hands on exercises so the handler can learn and quickly understand the theory of dog handling. Single Purpose narcotic K9 Course is 2-3 weeks long depending on performance of the team.
Explosive Detection Course
Single Purpose (explosive detection) K-9 Course 120 hour course
